Remember when made G.O.O.D. Music made it for label clique to do BET Cyphers? When Common, Pusha T, Big Sean, Cyhi The Prince & Kanye West shut the BET Cypher down. This week, I reinvent that very moment for the #NERecap. In 2010, Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music team only compiled of those in the BET Cypher including Mos Def, Kid Cudi & Husdon Mohawke. The strongest MCs of the bunch took to the 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards to provide a cypher that no one would ever forget. First up was Pusha T, he slayed ever second of his part with his coke boy metaphors and dark imagery. From that moment on, Pusha T became one of Hip Hop dopest MCs. (No pun intended.) Next up, Big Sean who was at the time just emerging as an MC in Hip Hop with his Finally Famous Vol.3 mixtape. Sean killed his part with his clever Detroit style and lines. After Sean; Cyhi The Prince, the newest of the bunch at that time, held his own in a cypher full of assassins with his mixture of southern flow and lethal lines. Next up was the OG of the bunch, Common who spit his conscious yet battle rap bars showing that his style of rap of still not to played with. Last but not least, Kanye West spit and it was something of the ages. Kanye West spit a fury of bars that somewhat told a short story of his upcoming album at that time My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. To top it all off, every cat wear a suit for this cypher. This was possibly the last time we'll ever catch Kanye doing a cypher. It's Yeezy season so....never forget.
