In honor of Busta Rhymes & Q-Tip project The Abstract & The Dragon dropping today, we will have a 2 part Pick Of The Day. The second part coming from Queens MC and producer Q-Tip for his 2008 cut "Gettin' Up". Q-Tip has been in the Hip Hop game for a long time as well. Getting his start with the legendary and influential Hip Hop collective A Tribe Called Tribe in 1989 and going up to 1998 where he eventually started a successful solo career. Q-Tip has put out 5 albums with ATCQ and 3 albums on his own. "Gettin' Up" can be found on his sophomore solo project The Renaissance. "Gettin' Up" is produced by Q-Tip and contains a sample of "You and I" by Black Ivory. Q-Tip will be legendary in this game forever and his talent will always be recognized.
