Today's Pick Of The Day comes from Yeezus himself, Kanye West for his summer smash hit "Black Skinhead" off of his latest album Yeezus. Yeezus is a project of mixed reviews just like his 2008 release 808s & Heartbreak but this album shows Kanye's creative genius. He premiered this cut on SNL back in May and ever since then it took off. It is a very diverse and different sound for Ye. "Black Skinhead" doesn't have the sound of your typical Hip Hop song but it still Hip Hop based on the fact that Yeezy is rapping his ass off on it. Because of the sound of "Black Skinhead" as well as Yeezus, lots are more critical of Kanye. However, there is always a method to the madness. Hip Hop needs the creative genius that Kanye brings. "Black Skinhead" is produced by Kanye West & the Robots, Daft Punk on the assist; containing a sample of Marilyn Manson's “The Beautiful People”.
