Today's Pick Of The Day goes to Brooklyn and Pro Era MC Joey Bada$$ for his cut "Survival Tactics" featuring the late and Pro Era member Capital STEEZ off of his hit mixtape 1999. This track screams hip-hop at the top of its lungs. Straight up bars coming from both of these young cats with no hook. OG Swank starts this track off with a fury of lines then Steelo comes in a completely goes in. Capital STEEZ is credited with having the best verse on this track. Produced by Vin Skully, the beats contains what seems to be a looping sample from The Tempations with a banjo playing over it. All the OGs in hip-hop needs show love to these cats for creating such a great example of what hip-hop should be like. Check out "Survivial Tactics" right above and leave comments below. R.I.P.
